How to maintain your cap?
Over time, it is normal that by wearing your Marion Paris cap, it can get dirty. Here are our tips for maintaining them and keeping them as long as possible!
Hand washing
Choose hand wash to preserve the quality of all our caps, thus reducing the risk of accidents. Ideally, soak the upper part of your cap in warm, soapy water, focusing on the crown which accumulates dust, scalp grease and perspiration. Be careful to avoid prolonged immersion of the visor in water as much as possible. Treat any stains on the cap or visor by rubbing them, then leave to air dry.
It is crucial to avoid tumble drying, as it can damage the visor and cause the fabric to shrink. To speed drying, use a terry towel to remove excess moisture, and be sure to air dry, away from direct heat and sunlight.
After cleaning your cap, the inner headband may still show stubborn marks, common after exposure to sweat and summer sunscreen. To specifically target sweat stains, opt for either baking soda or a few drops of ammonia diluted in water. Make sure not to mix these methods to avoid unwanted reactions.
